Hello! Happy to have stumbled onto this website/group! We are getting a new house (new to us) with a saltwater pool. I know nothing about saltwater pools. Back in the day when I was a lifeguard and moved up to pool manager (HS and College years), I could balance a chlorine pool like a boss. Perfect water all summer long. I’m a little intimidated by a saltwater pool, the mechanics and all things involved. Happy to read past threads to help me along. Looking forward to a new learning experience! Cheers to you all!!

But we got you. 400something thousand members spanning almost 20 years have tweaked the cheap amd easy way to be even better.
As far as the salt system goes, you can't please all the people all the time. You just can't. That said, for 99% of us you'd have to pry it out of our cold, dead hands. It's the bees knees.
