Hi,
We just purchased a home with a 7 yr old above ground pool. It stays green! We have changed all the sand in the filter and are now in day 2 of muriatic acid to lower the ph and alkalinity. More work than we anticipated!!

Welcome to TFP! Are we gonna get some rain today? As for green, it's probably algae which requires a SLAM Process to kill/remove the algae. You'll also need a good test kit to ensure the levels, especially the elevated free chlorine level, required to properly maintain the higher FC during the SLAM Process. Don't forget to update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info. If you need help , just ask. The link below is a great resource for you.
