I joined a few years ago when we first bought our house and never came back. Well of course I am burned out on dealing with pool repair folks so here I am!
When we purchased the house in 2015 the pool was inoperable. I did a lot of reading on here and got it going myself. I have removed the salt system due to it being outdated and upgrade / replacement parts were not worth it to me. The current pool project it to replace the control system. we had a power surge that fried the high voltage side of the outdoor panel and some light damage to our A/C unit as well.
We are in Denton TX. and try to keep the pool up year round. Fall/ Winter gets tough due to my yard being full of oak trees.
Ill be poking around the equipment forums looking for input on a new control system. Give me your 2 cents if you have some input.
