We always like to accelerate the warm up at this time of year with our Pentair 120K BTU Heat Pump. Last year we did not run it at all. We started the heater a week ago, and although the fan ran, the compressor did not start. Pentair is way behind on everything, so I pulled the manual and started troubleshooting. When I pulled the Start/Run Capacitor, I got no arc when manually discharging it. Pentair wanted $108, and is out of stock. I found the part on Amazon for $69, and it even came in Pentair marked packaging.
