Our pool was opened two weeks ago, but tonight the low is 19. I have the filter pumped on 24/7, but should we turn the heat pump on at all overnight? If so, what temp? The water temp is currently 48ish.

Thanks!

Alright hive mind. This is the current state. Do I have a disaster on my hands?

Water is still flowing in the skimmer and back through the returns. Current water temp shows 38, and this is the hourly temp forecast for today:

If it was dripping before, all the drips froze and it's harmless. (Besides needing lube on the o-rings and proper reassembly) If the pipes/equipment was frozen solid enough to do damage, there is no way it would have been able to turn on and move water. If it didn't drip at startup maybe the RPMs were lower and they started at freeze protection RPMs.

Or 2 of the 3 could be harmless at least. It doesn't have to be entirely catastrophic.

Alright, I'll take that. LOL. It wasn't dripping before that I remember. I'll give it a few hours and hope it unthaws.

Safe to keep it on still with the high pressure?

What model is the pump? Put it in your signature.

What is the RPM and filter PSI?

Ohhh good question about the pump. I will check and add that in!
List the models of all of your equipment in your signature. It is more important if you seek advice then the color of your liner and the type of steps.
