Hayward VSP900 Speed issue

Hello, we have a new Hayward VS900 install with 120v supplied power voltage. When on 100% speed, it is only drawing 624W. Seems isn’t even close to full power draw. I spoke with the Hayward rep and he says that is normal for a 120v supply. I thought the amps would increase and supply close to full load of over 1400W? Am I missing something? If that is all we get, I will switch to 230v.
Controlled with omnilogicPL. Salt ready, but not on yet.

Your signature shows a Pentair IntellifloXF and an Easytouch. Why would you install a Hayward pump?

I do have the Pentair! This is for a customer….

Your customer wants to use more electricity? That's all they want out of it? But perhaps you're right since mine runs 2950 rpms while using 1400 w on 220v.

The VS900 is severely throttled using 120V at 3450 RPM. See the dashed line below.
