Hayward VS 700 - no display

First time owner. New pool that was installed last fall was opened yesterday.

Pumps running (and noisy), went to see if I could turn the speed down to lower sound level a bit but there’s no display on the digital screen?

Not sure what this means

I think it means you have a dead pump display.

Did you try powering down the pump, waiting 30 minutes, and restoring power?
