Hayward Spa Countdown decrementing slowly

I flipped my pool from Pool Mod to Spa mode about an hour ago. It usually switches and heats up in under 30 minutes. The filter switched and spa jets are working, but the heater won’t kick on. I noticed the 4 minute countdown is decrementing super slowly. Drop from 3:53 to 3:49 over 15 minutes.

Any idea what the problem could be?

I have seen countdown problems discussed with Gulfstream heat pumps.

Have you called Gulfstream and discussed it with them?

You can try disconnecting the HP from the Hayward system and running the HP standalone and see if it works.

Turns out that the heater breaker was tripped apparently. Maybe from a power surge? It's all running normally after resetting it.
