hayward sp3200dr has died. is it repairable?

I do agree w James on asking to have your controller/drive replaced at no cost...this pump should have been recalled. Tell the hayward agent that there is a known flaw w this controller and it's design...they will know immediately what you are referring

@JamesW Thanks. I will call Tuesday. I'm not too excited about spending the money on either pump replace or drive replacement. Maybe Hayward will give me warranty remedy.

@tstex well it seems the drive is the smarts for the pump. Its a component like anything else. There is definitely a Hayward Tax in play.
certainly not happy with the costs but I don't have experience with Pentaire to compare costs.
