Texas is right, typically leaks out of your backwash port mean a spider gasket issue. Pull your key assembly off of your lower head assembly by unscrewing the bolts. Pull up gently. Inspect the spider gasket for any cracking, flaking, or general wear. Ensure it’s seated properly.
Don’t forget to lube the gasket before you put it all back together. See if this fixes it. If not, order another spider gasket off of the internet. Some Hayward multiport valve assemblies have a non serviceable spider gasket. They glued them in during assembly. If that’s the case, you can pick up a key assembly for around 30$.
