Hayward sand filter leaking from bottom when in filter position

Could be anywhere. I suspect all the connections (hose clamps) may be where you will find it. Probably not the filter body but it could be.
So where do you think it is coming from? I know you said bottom of filter but there is no connection or opening at the dead bottom of the filter

We just were able to look under the filter and there is a small pinhole size leak in bottom of filter housing. It is leaking water. I turned filter to closed setting and leak stopped. Can we fix the small hole or need to replace it?
If the leak is in the filter body, it is unwise to attempt a repair. Probably time for a new filter body.
It is puzzling that changing the valve setting stops it. Are you quite sure it is not coming from the valve and running down the side of the filter to the bottom?

Yes positive. We could see the water coming out of a small hole. Thanks for the help
