Have Hayward salt and swim C3 system. Last week control panel went out, no lights. Determined water got into top of salt cell chamber and shorted out control panel, blown fuse. Replace fuse and bought new salt cell. Panel works, but cannot get cell and control panel to communicate. Problem Detected light on (solid) and Max chlorination light (blinking). Looking for control panel/motherboard items I should be checking to reset or repair that may address the problem or other suggestions.

Did you remove the board and examine it for burnt components or solder points?
