Has anyone taken a HLX-PCB-Main board from a Omnilogic and installed it in place of the board on OmniPL? Would it work? the OmniPL display has a Lan connection and USB port for software updates

The Omni PL cabinet is a little smaller than the OmniLogic. I’m not sure if any brackets or mounting holes will line up correctly. If your PL has the display connection without the chip that you attach to the connector in place of the onboard Omni display you will have to get one or use the OmniLogic display and get a Wi-Fi adapter or run Ethernet cable.
I already have a hard Lan connection from the house to the PL's controller. What chip are you talking about?
A chip that lets you plug your wired controller to the board. Without it you will have to use an onboard display which has a ribbon cable. The chip converts the ribbon cable connector to the 6 wire connector needed to plug your PL display in. That’s the connection that need the chip there’s no where to plug in the PL controller/display.
