I’ve got a Hayward OmniLogic that’s about 8 years old and the water temp reading does not rise with the current temp. I’ve changed out the temp probe and it still doesn’t same. Even the outside air temp seems to be losing total connection at night I’ve upgraded the firmware and still no luck. I recently had to replace the wireless bridge as well. Any thought or help?

Sounds like the board is getting sick.

You can test the air and water sensor using a multimeter against this chart. If the sensor reads the correct resistance for the temperature and the Omnilogic does not show that temperature then the board is bad.

Ah ok. I’ll check them out and see what I get. I was hoping the board was not the problem but it looks like it. It doesn’t seem too hard to do it myself. Any experience with that? Just seems a little time consuming.

Hardest part is the programming and redoing the Configuration.

I assume I can’t take my current program and put it on a USB then transfer it to the updated card?
You may be able to. Depends on the firmware level in your current card and what your new card will have.

I always like to start cards clean and not carry over problems from a sketchy card.

Just wanted to give an update on this thread. I went ahead and replaced the card at ajw22’s recommendation and it fixed my problem. Thank you for the help. It was expensive but def cheaper doing it myself. Appreciate it.
