Hayward OmniHub Install Not Recognizing Smart Relay

I apologize if this has been answered, I searched and didn't find anything. I recently installed a new VS 900 Pump and OmniHub controller. I connected the VS pump, existing Hayward SWG, with expansion board added and 2 Smart Relays. Everything works like it should, except 1 Smart Relay. The system recognizes the HUA of the Smart Relay, but identifies it as a 'wiring hub', so it doesn't work like it should. I upgraded the firmware to the newest version and that didn't help. I unhooked all the low voltage wiring and re-wired everything with the same results.

I then reached out to Hayward and they just pointed me to my local service/warranty dealer. Spoke to them and I am out of their service area, they are the closest to me, but they said they have 3 other customers with the same issue and have not had any luck finding a solution.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like to me you might want to get it escalated higher up. Like the guy who had super old firmware and went to upgrade his MSP and it bricked the controller. They had a Hayward engineer come out and replace it. He then took the old controller with him to figure out why it bricked. It’s helps your case since you aren’t the only one.
