My old antenna stopped working eventually. It is at the firmware level of 1.5.46.
After I purchased and installed new Antenna with firmware version 3.06 everything works fine. Old antenna had no issues outside of the fact that firmware on it always stayed the same regardless of any firmware upgrades on the Omnilogic. Few posters on the internet had stated that eventually hayward MSP and other firmware upgrades invalidate the antenna with 1.5.46 firmware level on it.
If that is the case, that is not the optimal solution to upgrade the controller and system firmware and force the end user to buy the new antenna from you.
Can anyone elaborate if this statement about 1.5.46 antenna is obsolete as a device is really TRUE and if that is not so how can you upgrade the antenna firmware to 3.06?
