I opened the pool about a month ago and everything worked great. Last weekend I noticed thebtemp dropped significantly and it was throwing the IF code. I checked all the stuff on here people were saying to check..orifices, flame sensor, ignitor...I dont smell gas when it tries to light but the gas is turned on. Should I try changing the gas valve? Or could it be the circuit board? Help!

Welcome to TFP.

You need to check gas pressures with a manometer before throwing parts at it.

Do you test for 24V at the gas valve when the heater starts?

Do you hear a click of the gas valve at startup?

This member recently found his gas regulator was clogged...
