Hayward H150 Error IF - Help!

Does it glow when the heater tries to start?Getting an error IF on my Hayward h150.
It trying to kick on three times then throws a error 150, I can hear the fan kick on. The gas line is turned on…I have the igniter out, how can I confirm it’s the igniter? I did not see any flames through the sight glass.
I didn’t see any change through the sight glass. I’m assuming I would have saw it glow there?Does it glow when the heater tries to start?
I don’t know if this helps solve the problem. But I did notice the gas regulator was set to off. But it was like that last year and the heater worked fine. Could that have anything to do with it?

If you are talking about the main valve on the left of the cabinet, it MUST be in the on position for the heater to light. I just checked the igniter and there’s continuity… so it seems the igniter isn’t the problem.You should. yes.
Does anyone know what the voltage should be if I’m checking the igniter output on the board itself?
Well I switched it to on and now it’s working. Million dollar question is why it went to off?Would there we a reason why it would have switched to off on its own? As in some sort of safety feature?
