Hayward Cl220 Inline to Flex Hose

Hello,

I'm looking to install a Cl220 Inline Erosion Feeder, Am I able to tap the feed and return lines into a 1.5" Tiger Flex Hose? The pool does not have any PVC running discharge.

I have never seen it done.

Why can't you put a section of hard PVC in place for the tap?
