Hayward AquaNat keeps getting stuck on drain.

Our Hayward pool cleaner keeps getting hung up on either of the drains at the bottom. I thought it was because the leader hose that connects to it was cracked, but the same problem is still happening when I replaced the leader hose. It never got stuck in the first year we had it. Any advice?

There should be a "bump" on each tire that will lift the cleaner away from the drain cover if it is stuck by suction. If the "bump" isn't there, it is time for new tires.
