So my generator went down for the third time in five years. I replaced the black key once, last year I changed the board totally out. So once again this year my board acts up. When the pump is turned on the power light is off, the no flow light is on, once flow is established just the “generating” light comes on for 10 seconds and goes off. So I don’t want to mess with the black key again and just buy a new board. And the new board does the same thing and now I’m out the money! Any ideas before I have to call a pro? Thank you.

The voltage is about half of what it should be. I suspect that the supply voltage is 120 but the board is set to 240.

Check the supply voltage and change the jumpers if necessary. See diagram on front door.

Assuming that the supply voltage is 120 volts, you use the 2 jumpers to connect 1 and 2 together and 3 and 4 together.

The 2 jumpers are currently connecting 2 and 3 together.

You have to remove the two jumpers, flip them over and put one between 1 and 2 and the other between 3 and 4.

There will not be a connection between 2 and 3.

Note: Make sure that the supply is 120 volts before changing the jumpers.

What are the diagnostic readings?

What is the input voltage?
Hi James , where can I find a manual with the sequence and the correct values for the display ? I am struggling to get a correct reading for salt level. Cell was tested at pool store and passed, salt level is 3100 also tested at pool store but system shows a weird number of 3.8. Please help.

I made this from the Owners manual. Does this help?
