Hayward aqua connect cannot register pool

Good day all took the plunge and purchased the AQ-Co-home net. I have completed the below but cannot register the pool I get a mac address error.

1. Completed connection and can put the url from my laptop and hit the pool controller and open the page.
2. The black Hayward is getting an Ip and flashing every 4 times a min.
3. I can ping the mypool083 and get a reply from my laptop.
4 . I’ve opened a ticket with Hayward

What am i missing

I think that means the units mac address is not recognized by Hayward or it has been registered to someone else.

Did you buy a new unit?

Hi there, Hayward has cleared the old owner who lived here and told me to re-register which is where it fails
The unit MAC Address entered was not found!


Please re-enter the MAC Address.

Hi James I had to open a ticket then they escalated to get the old owner of the house to delete now it works and I’m so happy as last time the pump went out when I wasn’t here

Hi James, yes, I suspect an issue on hayward side with the old values registered in the data base i have it connected via a ATT repeater and getting all lights
