Hello everyone, I have a inground pool plaster with plumbing 1.5 inch with 3 returns. I would like to upgrade my old Hayward super pump 3/4hp to a pentair 1.5 hp variable speed pump. Would that be too much power dont want to put a lot of stress in my plumbing?

Variable Speed means Variable HP. There will be little need to run the VS pump at full speed. And your plumbing will be fine.
