Hayward 1hp Powerline pump, single phase, capacitor connections

Hello, This is my second attempt at trying to post this question. As it does not appear, I must have made a mistake. Anyway, having removed my Hayward pump for the end of last season, I came to refit it but found that I had lost my wiring diagram. Normally, simple live, neutral and earth connections are all that is required. This time however, I noticed that one of the 2 black wires coming from the capacitor was not connected to anything. The other black wire is connected to the terminal block together with the red wire coming from the motor. Can anyone help me with how I should proceed or will I have to resort to an electrician. Do you have any pictures you can post of the wiring you are referring to or the model number of the motor?
