Correct. As it plays out the chlorine holds longer and longer and you adjust your test intervals accordingly.
Count it as added until you get a good reading in full sun. And round up to 50 as we do.

Ahh gotcha! Well the new pump showed up early. Soo just gotta get it installed. Need to go to Lowe's probably for some plumbing parts.
Edit: actually might not have to go to Lowe's yet. I have already have a pack of adapters that might work

Plumb some valves in while you’re at it if you don’t already have them. Makes it easier to dump the pump basket without losing tons of water or isolate the pool from the plumbing if needed.
To convert from pvc to those proprietary bestway/intex fittings you will need something like these
The top one converts intex thread to attach normal sized pool hoses. & you can use normal barbed fittings on the equipment.
The bottom one is to mate intex to normal pvc screw on fittings.
Some pool stores also carry these. May want to call around if you’re in a rush

I luckily have a set of those 40mm to 1 1/2inch. So my bestway hoses coming from the pool and Hayward skimmer should connect right to the jacuzzi pump&filter

I like to have at least 1 between the skimmer and pump - keeps you from getting soaked when dumping the pump basket. For years i just used a little foam football
and wedged it in the skimmer hole - it still allowed a bit of water through though.It was glorious once i added a valve under the skimmer.
I also have valves on each of my returns. This allows me to not only isolate the pool from plumbing if needed but also control the flow to each return if i want when using my fountain or my pressure side cleaner.
I am about to hook up my plumbing for the season and all the valves mean that i can do so at my leisure & just turn them on when ready.

Pump installed. In high speed mode, it's shaking my return tube a good bit haha. Is it time to hard plumb it all together?

No. Pumping slow will filter out more than pumping fast.

I wouldn't worry about moving it around in the general area (10 ft this way or that way) but I wouldn't move intex style equipment much further than it was meant to be.
Id love to move the equipment up against my house..

Spitball for me, I've never been to your house. We talking 50 ft or 250 ft ?
We talking anywhere between 15-25ft depending on where I put it along the wall.
