Had pool opened last week and can't get rid of "ring"

Hi All,

Pool company came and opened the pool last week...added whatever chemicals they usually use and I left the pump running etc.

Have been keeping the pool clean but the pool has this ring of where the water line was when the pool was closed.

I ran a brush over it and it's not coming off. Any ideas how to get rid of it? it's the entire water line of the pool

My first bet since it’s at the line where the pool was closed is organic staining. Try rubbing a puck on it and see if it takes care of it where you rub. If so you can just let it be and the chlorine in the water will lift the stain.

Is this the area ABOVE where the water line was in the winter?

Where the plaster was exposed for the winter?

to be honest, i'm not sure...it is right below the skimmer where the water line was. i do believe it was at the waterline
