Dumb question incoming - I took my sock of CYA out of the pool on Monday evening. It had fully dissolved. Did I read somewhere I cannot backwash/rinse for a full week after doing that (or was that if I used the liquid version)?
My PSI on the sand filter is nearly 2x what it's base line is...

Backwash away. You might lose a bit, but you didn't read you can't backwash for a week here...maybe if you used the liquid.

TA is showing 170 as of a couple days ago - do I need to worry about this one? Is this driven down by getting the PH to 7.2 and letting it rise, and bring back down? I think we talked about this one...

Joe Dirt is getting a facelift. I sprung a nasty leak. Here’s the plan…
1. Run a tube from sand filter to bottom of Joe 2.0
2. Run a tube from Joe 2.0 to return.
There will be a valve on the return to assist with easier “on and off”’of when Joe needs to be in action.
So far I have his foundation down:
