I've read these forums for a few years now, on and off, mostly when I have pool troubles
this forum is a great resource.
I moved to FL about 11 years ago from Maine (hence the "Mainiac" name), had pool built shortly after moving in.
I worked as marine electrician (US Navy & BIW ship building) for about 18 years before going into IT for the next 20, familiar with most things electrical / electronic, from power generation, to interior communications, automation, networks, alarms, and so much more.
Now I just want to relax and enjoy the pool / spa, yet it continues to want more attention.
