I've had my solar cover on for several weeks trying to warm up the pool. I knew there was debree under it but have been managing the water. I came home today and the GF had taken off the solar cover and while the water was clear it was green on the bottom I started sweeping to get everything in one small area to vacuum and the water is St. Patrick's day green.

I did the 25ml ( .2 multiple) FC test and it has dropped over the last two days from 6 to 3.5(added bleach yesterday to maintain level) I tested CC after that and none detectable.

When I test FC I add drops individually and swirl until the tube is clear. For CC, I then add 5 drops per the test. I got absolutely no change in color.

It's still too chilly to swim so I'm going to slam, I just wanted to know if this is common.

Current #s:
FC: 3 5
CC: undetectable
Cya: 40
TA: 70
Ph: 7.4

I'll bring ph down to 7.2 first
