Have you been brushing every day? Algae that attaches to a surface can build a biofilm that inhibits the chlorine's ability to get to and kill the algae. Brushing breaks it up and lets the chlorine do it's thing.

I can try. Nothing really budges when I brush over it. I'll try vacuuming it.

I am almost done with SLAM. I should've checked my FC before I added water just now and didn't. How soon after water is added can I check? My FC number was 26 about 230 and is 14 just now. I'm hoping the new water needs to circulate a bit and i can check it again in a little bit and get a higher number. Thanks in advance.

With that stubborn patch on the bottom and the info from Sunday night, I'm afraid to say that you are not almost done and still in SLAM mode for a while. Keep at it and you'll get there.
