Just your FC and CC first. As said above, if your FC is over 10 ppm, the pH test using the comparator method will not being accurate. So let’s see the FC and CC number first. Especially if you’re truly in the SLAM right now. The only numbers that matter and you should be checking are FC and CC.
Now I'm super confused. I did 10ML of water, 1 drop of pow, and I added 15 deops until the water was clear. My CC is registering 0.

Just wondering how accurate the CYA test will be since it’s raining outside and not having full sun? I’m asking for my own notes. Will a test indoors in a super bright room be “good enough” for this?
That’s a great idea! Especially if anticipating needing to SLAM. But then again, staying the course may be the safest bet. Wouldn’t be great if you pumped out more than the rain filled back in. And hard to anticipate how much it will rain.
Electricity and water is not a great mix. Most sump pump cords are 10', you can find 12'. *Most* pools would require an extension cord to reach a plug that is *hopefully* GFI, and rain protected (cover).

to my friendly helpers! My morning PH reading is 7.6, and my CYA is still 100. I still have clouds this morning, but it is no longer raining. I'm going to add acid to try and bring the PH down.
