I have been trying to start my pool back up this year. I add prob 13 gallons of liquid chlorine 5. Or 6 pounds of shock and I have my floater going with chlorine tabs. all of my levels are in the good range except chlorine I can't keep that up. I have a layer of foam across the pool that will not go away. When I backwash my pool it comes out straight foam for several minute please help

You didn't by chance use the "outdoor" bleach or anything other than plain, unscented, un-thickened bleach did you? Those all have additives that would probably foam up.

I used unscented pool place,told me to had calcuim so I did so no help i also used some yellow gone its blue now but still foamy and cloudy can't see the bottom
