Hey Guys, I just saw something on a youtube video that I hadn't read here that I thought was a brilliant idea. So please correct me if I'm wrong. The video wasn't in english so I was kinda watching & deciphering. This guy was greasing every where that the poles connected to avoid rust. I thought it was a brilliant idea. Too late for most of us, but thought it could help the next person. I do plan to replace mine with one of the XTR's in a year or two, so this will be helpful. I had one corner rust pretty badly & I worry that it got inside the pole on the side that it connected to. I'm going to try to replace the corner with a pvc connection.
