So what is the pool sediment in the youtube video, are you saying that is dirt or mustard algea or regular dead algea in the video? I had sediment similar to that last year in my pool and I wasn't sure whether it was dirt or some form of algea.
I couldn't keep the bottom of our pool clean this spring either. We would run the Dolphin and a few hours later you could see dirt again. I switched the Dolphin to the pleated filters for really fine sediment and that took care of the problem.

I really don't know what it is. If I vacuum it up, it returns next day or two. Have been running pump 24/7 lately and that seems to have no effect. Going to try and fasten socks to my return jets and see if it still collects. Kinda looks like a mix of dirt/debris falling from trees, or maybe the black mulch I have in flower beds, along with what looks like dead algae. The algae confuses me because I thought the FC had to be super high to kill it, and been keeping mine at 6-7.
I have a grainy gray dust on the bottom of my pool that I can't seem to get rid of. I vacuum and clean filter in a few days it is BACK. Please help me figure out what it is and why this is happening. It started end of last season and battles it till pool closing. Cleaned very thorough then closed pool. Just re opened and in 5 days it has returned. All pool levels read correct.
