Solar Panels coupled with a clear solar cover, with a higher concentration of little air bubles allowed me to use my pool last weekend...after a full month of September where the highs were only in the 50s and 50s and we had some lows of 34 to 36 degrees and lots of rain...I turned on my solar cover four days before the weekend of the 8th, and with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s and nothing but sun...I got temps that went from 67 degrees up to 76 degrees by Sunday and was able to swim and close the pool without a lot of hassle. What impressed me is that it took me less than three days to get up to 76 degrees. If September had been even close to seasonable...I would have swam all month.
