Going away for two weeks

All,
I'm going away for two weeks in a week, and have no one in the immediate area to add liquid chlorine to my pool. I presume i will need to add tablets to my pool for the time away. I have an inline chlorine tablet feeder i've never used. My question for the group, how many tablets should i put in the feeder before i go away?

I would stuff as many as it will hold in there. Replacing some water because CYA is too high is a heckuva lot easier than clearing a swamp.

Remember that trichlor is acidic, so make sure the TA is fairly high before you leave. If you don't have an autofill, take the water level up, too, lest the water evaporate and the pump start sucking air and burn up.

I'd also increase your chlorine to SLAM level just before you leave.

Just got back today and checked the in-line feeder. I only added three and they are still there half dissolved. Just wanted to report back and give thanks to TFP
FC was at 3

Now throw those half-used pucks away and check your chlorine and CYA. Act accordingly. Welcome home!
