Glx-Pcb-pro in replacement of Glx-pcb-main ?

Hey all, I have a customer who has an old aqua logic system from 2006. They want to be able to control there pool from there smart phone with the aqua connect. I have been digging through google and the forums trying to figure out if I can upgrade there glx-Pcb-main to a glx-Pcb-pro so I can install the aqua connect. Hayward tech support is telling me yes but I need to replace the display key pad as well otherwise I will get a comm error. Online I’m seeing this is false as long as my control panel has the stand alone “heater” button. Which it does, it will work. Can anyone confirm to me if indeed the old aqua logic p8 key pad will function with the glx-pcb-pro?

I think that it might work, but the keypad doesn't fit the stands from the Prologic board. It's different spacing and I'm not sure that it will work with the software.

If you change the keypad, the front panel won't fit.

You might want to replace the whole system with a new ProLogic or Omnilogic.
 
If its a aqualogic ps-8 you shouldn't have to replace the display the keypad and your should be good to up grade it. I've replaced many aqualogic boards for prologic boards with out any issues as long as they are ps-8. The keypad should fit the stands but the red wire in the upper right will seem in the way just bend it over and you will be good.
