Globrite to Brilliant Wonders question

I currently have a Pentair Globrite LED light in my spa that has quit working. I'd like to replace with the CMP Brilliant Wonders 1.5 inch LED. My question is, does the light install with or without the faceplate that comes with the CMP light, or does it install exactly like the Globrite? ie. slides right in and turn 1/4 to make it lock?

Welcome to TFP.

You need the Pentair 618040 MicroBrite-to-GloBrite adaptor to change the proprietary GloBrite niche to accept 1.5" LED lights like the MicroBrite and Brilliant Wonders nicheless lights.
