Globrite Placement Advice

Worthington, oh
We are breaking ground this week for our 20x40 vinyl with custom steps and deep end bench (diagram attached). We are building it on our side lot and with the length going front to back looking at the house/pool. The main seating area and pool shed will be at the back of the pool where the shallow end is. We want to avoid having a single large light aim at that area so our builder suggested using 4 Pentair color Globrites installed on the house side of the pool. Based on our setup, can anyone recommend specific placement of the lights so that the coverage will be as even as possible? I'd like the entry steps to be well lit. Also, I talked to Pentair's lighting people and based on their formula they said our pool needs 4.5 Globrites for good coverage. Do you think 4 is adequate? Thanks!!

Welcome to TFP...

From looking at your layout it seems to me that 4 would be sufficient. Unless you plan on using the pool as a landing strip at night :)
Seriouly since I have no used or seen the type of lights you are considering perhaps someone who has them will chime in on this. Biggest concern I have seen is the placement of lights out of the swim lanes for night swimming. Sorry I don’t have more to offer from experience...

I have 3 globrites on my pool. Demensions in signature. They are even on ling side of pool and the light reaches across perfectly. U will be cool with 4. I’ll take a pic and post in a few. Almost dark here. They point away from house. They shine across narrow part of pool.
