Interesting. I was just asking about the same thing in another thread. I don’t know enough about how to implement a solution, but it seems like it would be simple enough. Just add a float switch above the level of the pump float. If water rises and triggers the switch, send the “off” signal to the controller.
My Glacier is getting kinda old, so I’m concerned about pump failure, especially since my chiller kicks on at 3am. I suppose I could just get a new pump, but the chance of failure and draining the pool would still exist.
