I've never been able to get our filter/pump down into the green. It seems like the best I can ever do is get it just on the line between the green and yellow. But it doesn't stay there long. How do I get it down to the green? It's second season sand in the filter and flushes clear pretty quickly.

Blue, green, red, purple are all irrelevant. Your pools pressure is what it is. You should focus on what your pressure is after you’ve backwashed the sand. That’s your clean pressure. You should backwash when pressure rises 25% above your clean pressure.
