getting new liner installed

27 X 52 round pool. liner coming from pool warehouse. 25 mil unibead. boy they sure try to confuse you with dimensions in mil and gauge.

Having someone install it, which was tough to find as we are out of the city.

anything I should prepare for? I have ordered a new skimmer basket and nozzle.

also what is the pool liner lifetime out there?

The good news is that the better you care for the water, the longer the lifespan of the liner will be. So manage the water parameters per our recommendations and you'll have a good chance to have a liner which lasts 15+ years. The pH is important as too low a pH makes vinyl brittle.
That copper device in your signature has the highest risks of staining your liner, as well as turning blond hair green. It also doesn't provide sanitation you need. Copper is good for fighting algae, but without enough chlorine in the water your pool isn't safe. And as long as you *do* keep the proper amount of chlorine in the water, you shouldn't have algae anyway.

well as soon as I ordered new liner, it stopped leaking onto the ground. could there be a significant delay in patching and water making it out of the pool? like a big pool of water under the pool slowing seeping out.
