Hello!

So we just had a ton of landscaping done in the past week or so. We had the pool covered but a lot of dirt / sand got into the pool. We have a pentair infloor cleaning system. No matter how much sweeping i do, the dirt seems to just spread out over the pool. Its a new pool - officially swimmable on 5/17 so everything is pretty brand new.

Any ideas on how to get the dirt out and get this pool back to sparkling?

Thanks!

Buy a robot pool cleaner or hire a pool service who has a standalone cleaning rig.

Brand new pool. Congratulation!

Now, I would personally vacuum it up. New build in AZ, you probably have a cartridge filter. With the plaster dust already captured and the dirt that you’d vacuum, it would be a good time to take the filter apart and hose off the cartridges.

Thanks Everyone! How do i know what skimmer vac plate to get? Is this something that the pool company should have provided"?

I don’t see your signature that lists your pool equipment. However, if you have two skimmers, I have found that the skimmer opening that goes to the pump suction will fit the end of the vacuum hose, no plate required. With 2 skimmers, first check the one closest to the equipment pad.
