Garapa or Azek Decking DIY

I'm in a huge debate with myself on what decking to use for around the pool. I've looked at just about everything (I can think of) and have narrowed it down to Azek Harvest Slate Grey or Garapa Brazilian Hardwood. Both would look great, Azek seems to be about twice as much as the the Garapa decking but will require practically zero maintenance and overall seems easier to install. Also about proper ventilation for the Garapa deck as my decking will be very close to the ground. Does anyone on here have any experience using Garapa decking? I've included pictures of the rendering for the project.

I actually just purchased Azek decking today...won’t be installed until mid August though. Will definitely report back.

@CircaSurvivalist wondering how the AZEK is working out for you? We're also planning to go with AZEK Slate Grey and would love to hear your experience.

I have Trec on my deck (same as AZEK) and its hot as all get out. I would discourage hot southern pool owners from using it.

This is good information - thank you. Our deck is actually covered and in the shade (won't be right next pool) so I'm hoping it won't be too much of an issue.
