Hey Guys,

I have so many questions, now that I have to take care of my own pool. I'll be asking a bunch of questions in the Water Chemistry section soon. LOL! But for now, 2 things I'm curious about regarding my Baracuda.

1. When pump cleaner tend to get stuck in one place, or tend to go back to a certain location... is that a tale tell sign of anything?
2. Is there any golden rules as to where NOT to place hose weights?

Thanks in advance!

I have a Barracuda and find it has a mind of its own for sure. Much depends on the consistent water suction it receives to help it move coupled with the contour of the pool floor. They also have a small diaphragm in there which manipulates movement. Might be something to check. As for the weights, you can experiment. I used to keep my weights about 1 - 2 hose sections from the cleaner to keep it more steady to the floor. Looking forward to all those questions you have. :)

Thanks! Diaphragm looks good. I think I'll swap out the foot pad and see what happens. If my G3 was a basketball player, it would be easy to defend him. He can't go right! Dude goes left all the time. Then he just parks in the corner like he's a 3 pt shooter waiting for a pass.
