Hard to say. Your pool volume needs to be accurate and the calculations of chlorine needs to be adjusted per the % STRENGTH otherwise it can go either way.

What size sample did you use for the FAS-DPD test? I'm guessing it was 25ml and you counted each drop as .2FC.

Next time test with 10mL sample size and each drop is .5FC.

Yeah, it would make sense that you did the 25ml sample and got a much bigger number. Everything else checks out.
