Frog in skimmer drain

Hi, I was cleaning my skimmer baskets when a frog jumped from one of them and into the drain, he went through the disc that covers them and into one of the pipes there. The pump is turned off and I don’t want to turn it back on and suck it into the pump, but how to get it out of there? Thanks

Reverse the pump? Haha!

Seriously, unless you are worried about hurting the frog, I would turn on the pump and let it get caught in the pump basket. Then turn off the pump and pull out the basket.

Happy hunting!

I agree. Not many options for Kermit on this one. If he survives the tube ride, he may get a headache getting sucked & slammed into the pump strainer pot basket. Good luck Kermit!
