Freeze question

Anything needs to be done for new construction plumbing manifold under pressure during the freeze in south Texas ?

I am not understanding. Is you plumbing done and turned on and running? The pumps freeze protection will run the pump if the temp is cold enough to keep it from freezing. If there is no pump, then you might have a problem.

There is no pump. It is under construction. Plumbing is left under pressure without pump in the manifold.

In a pressure test all the pipes are connected, sealed together, filled with water, and pressurized with a pressure gauge on it. You leave it and the pressure gauge tells if there is a leak or some trade nicked a pipe. You leave it pressurized until final plumbing is done.

I would drain the pipes before freezing conditions and repressurize when it warms up.

Some do air and some do water. Water is safer as a pipe pressurized with air and punctured by a workman can explode and injure someone.

You can find a leak with water leaking out easier then air.

However in freezing conditions air may be preferable.
