I have a Pentair Suntouch Control System. I also have a 2 speed high/low pump. This past week weather temperature in my area was below freezing for several days and my freeze protection kicked on, but in low pump mode. In past years, when in freeze protection, the pump would kick into high speed. One night, with the outside temperature below 32 degrees, my was pump was off. I had to turn the pump on manually. I got concerned. I pulled out my Suntouch manual.
1. My air temperature is ON
2. Under “circuit functions” my freeze protection under “high circuit” is ON, and “Aux 2” is set to ON.
Aux 2 controls the high speed mode on my pump. Low controls the low speed.
Nowhere in the manual under circuit functions does it talk about high or low circuit. Are my freeze protection settings correct?
