Hello,

We are looking to install a pool. I would prefer an in-ground pool but concrete pools are out of our budget. Does anyone here has any experience with the Fox Ultimate pool which can be installed above, semi in-ground, or fully in-ground? It seems to be a good alternative between a true in-ground pool and an above ground pools.
I have looked at the Radiant as well (which can also be installed above, semi in-ground, or fully in-ground) but it is almost as expensive as a true in-ground.

I would love to hear opinions. This is our first pool and I am overwhelmed with all the options.

Thank you in advance.
Victoria

Hi Maddie,

Yes we did get quotes for vinyl pools but they are still considerably more expensive than the Fox pool. A vinyl pool in our area is around 40K, while the Fox pool would be around 25K.
Thanks,
Victoria

Hi PoolGate,
While we are able to spend more than the price of a basic AGP, we cannot afford 40+K. I am comfortable in the 20-30K range for the total project.

One of the thing I liked about the Fox Ultimate compared to AGP is the ability to have a 6ft deep end.
Thanks,
Victoria

I would like opinions on the following equipment. Pool will be 15 x 30 4 ft shallow end, 6 ft deep end.
Filter: Pentair FNSplus24 DE filter w/push pull valve
Pump: Pentair 3/4 hp superflo
Salt system: Hayward Aquatrol

Thank you!

Consider a two speed pump. With a SWCG you will run your pump longer in the summer and electrical cost to run the pump comes into play. Single speed pumps are energy hogs.

What volume pool vs what size SWCG? Be sure your SWCG is rated for at least 2X your pool volume.

Take care.
